This hotel has a stunning setting with beautiful landscaping and great amenities. The staff was overall pleasant and accommodating, but I found the dining experience to be quite disappointing and not up to par with expectations for a resort. The facilities are decent but could use some upkeep, especially in the dining area. While the room was nice, I expected a bit more in terms of cleanliness and modernity given the price we paid.

Rooms
7.0
The room was nice but could be cleaner and more modern. It had a nice view, but the decor felt a bit dated.

The service was hit or miss; the staff was generally helpful, but I felt management could have been more attentive to guests' needs.

The hotel's location is a real highlight, surrounded by beautiful landscapes and hiking opportunities in the Catalina foothills. It set the perfect backdrop for our stay.
Dining
5.0
The dining options were disappointing. The main restaurant and pool bar had limited menus and quality, and we had issues with service during peak times.
Facilities

The facilities were decent, especially the pool area, but some areas seemed in need of maintenance, particularly the dining spots.

I had a wonderful time during my stay, the surroundings were breathtaking and the amenities were plentiful, making it a perfect retreat. The staff was attentive, especially Micheal, who really went out of his way to enhance our experience. However, there were some hiccups during check-in and checkout related to communication regarding room charges, which left me feeling a bit unsettled. Additionally, we encountered some issues with our initial room that could use improvements, but overall, it was a memorable trip with a great focus on relaxation.

My stay at the resort was a mixed bag. The adult-only pool was a lovely retreat, and I found the restaurant's food to be excellent, especially my meals at Epazote. However, I was disappointed by the cleanliness protocols and the unexpected resort charges. The walk to the main area was quite steep, which could be inconvenient for some guests.

Rooms
6.0
I stayed in a casita-style room, which was clean but had a bit of a sour smell. The decor was dark, making it feel less inviting. Overall, it was just okay.
Service
9.0
The service at the restaurants was commendable, with staff being attentive and friendly, particularly in accommodating dietary needs.
Location
7.0
The location is beautiful but quite far from downtown Tucson, which can be a long drive if you want to go exploring the area.
Dining
8.0
Dining was a highlight for me—both the dinner at Epazote and the breakfast buffet at Sundance Cafe were enjoyable, though the buffet could use better staffing for replenishments.
Facilities
9.0
The resort's facilities, including the adult-only pool and the family-friendly main pool, were well-maintained and offered a pleasurable experience.

My recent stay at the resort left me feeling mixed. While the grounds and pool area were lovely and family-friendly, my room was quite dark and outdated. Service at the pool could be slow, and some dining options were on the pricier side without being exceptional. Overall, it’s a decent choice for families, but I wouldn’t recommend it for a romantic getaway.

Rooms
5.0
The room had a somewhat dingy and basement-like feel, with dark textures that didn’t make for a comfortable environment.
Service
6.0
Service varied greatly. While some staff were friendly and attentive, wait times for food and drinks were frustrating at times.
Location
8.0
The resort is set in a picturesque area with beautiful mountain views, making it quite enjoyable.
Dining
5.0
Dining was pricey and not worth the cost. I found myself opting for quick grab-and-go options instead of eating at the hotel.
Facilities
7.0
The pool area was excellent for families with kids, offering fun features, but seating was scarce during peak times.

I recently spent a few days at this resort, and it was a mix of highs and lows. The views were gorgeous, and the grounds were beautifully maintained, but some aspects felt a bit neglected, and the dining options were limited during our stay. While I appreciated the spaciousness of the junior suite, it did show signs of age with outdated decor. Overall, it's a decent choice, but I might consider other resorts nearby for my next visit.

Rooms
6.0
The junior suite was spacious but felt dark and dated in its decor.
Service
7.0
Service was generally good, but the front desk could be more attentive, especially for Diamond members seeking benefits.
Location
8.0
The resort is tucked away in Oro Valley, offering stunning mountain views, but it's a long drive into Tucson for dining options.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were limited during my stay, leading us to look for alternatives outside the hotel, which was a bit disappointing.
Facilities
8.0
The pool area was lovely, complete with family-friendly features, but some maintenance could improve the overall experience.
